Dear host family
I am already very excited about getting to know you and your family. But, first of all, I would like to introduce myself to you.
My name is Ma. Crisandria D. . I am 25 year old and is currently living here in Baguio City, famously known as the summer capital of the Philippines. I live with my mother, Merlita (49) and my sister Kimberly (27). My father, Catalino (46) is currently in our staying in the province. My father works as a farmer, and my mother is a housewife. My sister is a teacher, and is currently teaching grades 4 to 6 students.
I would describe myself as a patient and hardworking person, I always try to make the best out of every situation. I like spending time with my family; they are as well as my close friends are very important to me. I always try my best to help, with the best of my ability
Two years ago, I worked as a personal caregiver to one of our relatives. She was diagnosed with cancer, and our other relatives asked me for help to take care of her. During the time of my stay there, I then realized how I want to help other people. They encouraged me to study caregiving. And during that time, I had on-the-job training that allowed me to work in hospital, where I assissted different type of patients. I was alaso assigned in the School for the Visual Impaired, and assisted children with their daily activities.
The reason why I want to go to your country as an au pair is that I want to get to know the way of life as well as different cultures. Most importantly, it would be a great chance to spend an entire year taking care of children. And of course, it would also help me assist my family financialy.
