my name is Malin , I’m 18 years old and I live with my family in Marburg, near Frankfurt. We’re a close-knit family – my parents are teachers and I have a younger brother, Jasper. We enjoy spending time together, especially during dinner when we share stories, laugh, and listen to music. We’re all active and love sports: my dad teaches tennis, my mum is a yoga instructor, Jasper plays football and I play hockey.
Sweden has always fascinated me – I grew up loving Astrid Lindgren’s stories and was even named after one of her characters. After visiting Sweden a few times and trying out traditions like baking Kanelbullar and Lussekatter, I started learning Swedish on Duolingo – simply because I loved the language and culture.
Working with children brings me joy. I’ve always cared for my younger brother and cousins (2 and 4 years old) and babysat for family friends. I also coach hockey for kids aged 9–13 and used to assist with the youngest group (3–6 years). We train twice a week and play on weekends.
