my name is Emma, I am 18 years old, and I live in the small town of Beeskow in Germany. I share a home with my mother and my cat, Felix, but I also enjoy spending time at my father’s house. This allows me to stay close to both of my parents, and I am grateful for their strong support. I am currently a student at the Rouanet-Gymnasium in Beeskow and will soon complete my final exams (Abitur).
In my free time, I enjoy balancing physical and creative activities. I go to the gym several times a week with my boyfriend, where I challenge myself and stay active. I also love spending time outdoors on long walks, which help me clear my mind. Creativity is another passion of mine— whether I’m drawing or writing, I find it a great way to relax and express myself.
From my past experiences, I have learned a lot about working with children of different ages, especially in creative and physical activities, as well as assisting with homework.
During a kindergarten internship, I cared for children aged 1 to 3 years. My role involved supporting them in their daily routines, encouraging their creativity, and ensuring they felt safe and valued. Together, we worked on fun projects like crafting, celebrated special occasions such as Easter, and even baked together. This experience taught me how to foster a child’s curiosity, support their development, and create an environment where they can grow with confidence.
I also have experience taking care of my boyfriend’s three-year-old sister. When I visit, we spend time playing outside or doing creative activities together. These moments have taught me how important structure and attention are when working with small children, and I truly enjoy building a positive connection with her.
Alongside my schoolwork, I tutor students aged 8 to 13. I usually provide tutoring sessions 2-3 times a week, lasting about 45 minutes each. I help the students with their homework and guide them through academic challenges. This role requires patience, adaptability, and good communication skills, and it has shown me how to support and motivate older children effectively.
Beyond my school and childcare experiences, I work at an Italian restaurant called Cucina Verde. There, I’m doing different tasks. This job has taught me how important teamwork, organization, and flexibility are. It has also helped me learn to handle responsibilities in a busy environment.
