Dear future host family,
Thank you for reading my letter. My name is Nook. I’m 29 years old and 6 months Au Pair candidate from Thailand. I’m excited about the opportunity to become a part of your family as an au pair. I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share a bit about my background, interests, and what I hope to bring to your household.
My family live in Phitsanulok, located in the northern of Thailand. known for its rich history and beautiful natural scenery. Phitsanulok is home to the famous Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat, a temple that houses one of the most revered Buddha images in the country. My family consists of 4 people; there are my dad, my grandmother, my aunt and me. My dad is working about Customer assistant. We love to spend time together. And one of the things I love most is spending time with my grandmother, who enjoys working in her garden. She has always inspired me with her love for nature and patience.
I would describe myself as a cheerful, optimistic person who always tries to look on the bright side of things, while also being cautious and mindful. I’m committed to giving my best effort in everything I do, but I also value taking time to recharge when needed. I believe that with the right mindset, anything is possible. I’m responsible and like to plan ahead to avoid unnecessary stress or confusion. I’m also very open-minded and love learning new things, whether it’s exploring different cultures, trying new activities, or picking up new skills. Additionally, I’m empathetic and value being kind and considerate to others, which helps me form strong, positive relationships.
I realized that I love children because I genuinely enjoy spending time with them and watching them learn and grow. Their curiosity and creativity inspire me, and I find it incredibly fulfilling to be part of their development, whether it’s teaching them n ew skills or simply sharing joyful moments together. One experience that really reinforced my passion for working with children was my time as a volunteer teacher in the mountains. Being able to teach and connect with kids in that unique environment showed me how much of a difference I can make in their lives while also learning from their fresh perspectives. It was a rewarding experience that deepened my desire to support children and contribute positively to their growth.
After I finish the au pair program, I will return to Thailand and apply the skills I have gained to improve opportunities for children in my community. I believe that the experiences and knowledge I acquire while working with families abroad will enable me to make a positive impact back home.
Europe is my dream destination because of its rich history, diverse cultures, and breathtaking landscapes. I’ve always been fascinated by the different languages, traditions, and lifestyles found across the continent. Exploring historic cities, experiencing local customs, and tasting authentic cuisine are just a few of the adventures I look forward to. Additionally, living in Europe as an au pair will allow me to immerse myself in these cultures while gaining invaluable experience in childcare.
Thank you so much for your time reading my letter. I hope you find my qualification appealing and that you will offer a valuable opportunity to become your au pair in the near future. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at any time of your convenience. Have a wonderful day!
